How to Log In to IQ Option — Step by Step

   Open the login page

   Go to iqoption.com/en/login in your browser, or open the IQ Option mobile app.

   Enter your email and password

   Use the email address and password you registered with. Check Caps Lock and trailing spaces before submitting.

   Click "Log in"

   Hit the green Login button — you'll be taken directly into the Traderoom.

   (If 2FA is enabled) Enter your OTP code

   A 6-digit code will be sent to your registered phone number. Enter it to complete login. The code expires in 5 minutes.

Logging in with Google or Facebook

The IQ Option login page shows Google and Facebook sign-in buttons. These work only if you originally registered using that method, or if you've previously linked your social account in Settings.

Logging in via the IQ Option mobile app (iOS / Android)

Download the official IQ Option app from the App Store or Google Play — verify the developer name is IQ Option. Use the same email and password as the web platform — one account, one balance, across all devices.

After 7+ years trading on IQ Option I've encountered — and solved — every login issue that exists. Here's what actually works.

Forgot your password

   Log out on all devices first

   If you're still logged in on your phone or tablet, the reset link won't work — this step is non-negotiable.

   Click "Forgot your password?" on the login page

   Enter your registered email address and click Submit.

   Check your email — both Inbox and Spam

   The reset email arrives within 2–3 minutes. The link expires in 24 hours.

   Set a new password

   Click the link in the email and create a strong password: uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and a special character — at least 8 characters.

Forgot which email you registered with

• Try the Google or Facebook button on the login page — if you linked a social account it'll log you in directly.
• Search every email inbox you own for "IQ Option" — look for the welcome or verification email from registration.
• If nothing works, email support@iqoption.com with a copy of your ID. Support can locate your account and confirm the registered email.

2FA code not arriving / phone number changed

• Wait 60 seconds, then request a new code (tap Resend).
• Check your signal — SMS can take 1–2 minutes on poor connections.
• If your phone number has changed, email support with KYC documents to request temporary 2FA removal. Allow 1–3 business days for verification.

"Login Attempt Limit Exceeded" error

• Wait at least 15–30 minutes without touching the login page.
• After waiting, use "Forgot your password?" — don't try guessing the password again.
• If the error persists after a reset, contact support to manually unlock the account.

White screen / page freezes / won't load after login

   Clear cache and cookies

   Browser Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data → choose All time (not just the past week) → clear Cache and Cookies.

   Try Incognito / Private mode

   Ctrl+Shift+N (Chrome) or Ctrl+Shift+P (Firefox) to open a private window and try logging in fresh.

   Switch browser or use the Desktop app

   Download the IQ Option Desktop application from iqoption.com — it runs independently from your browser and avoids cache issues.

Account suspended or blocked

Common causes: incomplete KYC, flagged suspicious activity, or a duplicate account. Requires support — no self-service solution:

• Email support@iqoption.com from the address linked to your account.
• Attach a photo of your national ID or passport (the page with your photo).
• Describe the issue and attach any error screenshots.
• Response time: typically 1–3 business days.

Accidentally created two accounts

IQ Option allows one account per person. Holding two accounts risks getting both suspended:

• Identify your main account — your oldest or the one with deposit history.
• Contact support and request closure of the duplicate.
• Don't attempt to use both alternately — the platform tracks by IP and device fingerprint.

What You'll See After Logging In

After a successful login, IQ Option takes you straight to the Traderoom. Key things to know immediately:

• Practice balance — $10,000 virtual: visible in the top-right corner. Click it to toggle between Practice and Real balance at any time. The Practice balance can be replenished unlimited times.
• Real balance: requires a deposit first. Minimum is $10 (~฿350), payable via Thai bank transfer, Visa/Mastercard, and other methods.
• Trade on Practice first: no deadline or pressure to deposit. Use the demo to get comfortable with the platform before putting real money in.
